administrative Assistant

​​​Steinbach Consulting & Associates is seeking applications for the position of an Administrative Assistant to work in a home-based office (pet friendly environment) in Lincoln, New Brunswick. The position is full-time (37 hours per week). The primary responsibility is to oversee and manage daily administrative tasks, including the management of contracts and special events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative functions, marketing and promotion, and other generalized support.


 Responsibilities and Duties
  • Respond to phone calls and e-mails
  • Assist in managing arrangements for various events (provincial and national conferences, provincial training, committee meetings, etc.)
  • Prepare invoices and manage the accounts payable and receivables in Simply Accounting (professional accounting services & supports are available as needed)
  • Assist in creating promotional materials
  • Manage social media posts and activities
  • Update web sites
  • Ability to travel out of town (typically 3 - 7 days per year for event coordination)
 
Qualifications
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy
  • Capability to work independently demonstrating a high degree of self-motivation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and social media marketing
  • Ability to use both Apple and PC computers
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Graphic design experience would be considered an asset using computer software and online apps to communicate, and inspire clients
  • Bilingual (oral and written) in English and French an asset
 
Salary: $22.00 per hour
 
Hours of Work:  Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 4:00 pm)

Experience
  • Administration (experience: 1 year preferred)
  • Event planning experience an asset
  • Basic bookkeeping
